Kuwait Federation of Kyokushin Karate
Shihan Ali Al-Manaseer and Shihan Bader Al-Bisher participated in the historic 1st World Fullcontact Karate Championship (WFKO), held during Karate Expo 2025 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, from May 31 to June 1, 2025.
The championship brought together 165 elite fighters from 31 countries representing various full-contact karate organizations and styles from around the world. The event marked a major step toward strengthening unity and cooperation within the international full-contact karate community.
The tournament featured high-level continuous full-contact bouts, the official opening ceremony, and the 1st International Senior Championships, making it one of the most significant international gatherings in modern full-contact karate history.
During the championship, Shihan Ali Al-Manaseer and Shihan Bader Al-Bisher met with several distinguished international leaders and masters in Kyokushin and Full Contact Karate, including Shihan David Pickthall, Kancho Kenji Midori, Kancho Pedro Ruiz, Kaisho Masahiro Kaneko, Shihan Antonio Pinero, Shihan Yasukazu Koi, Shihan Daniel Sanchez, Shihan Keiji Sambii, and Shihan Hashem Makki.
The participation also highlighted the growing international presence of Kyokushin Karate in Kuwait and opened the door for future collaboration in seminars, championships, training camps, and technical exchange programs aimed at supporting the continued development of the Karate locally and internationally.
The participation of the Kuwait representatives reflects the commitment to building stronger international connections and contributing to the future growth and unity of Full Contact Karate worldwide.
